Carlow County Council is delighted to launch an ‘Affordable Housing Scheme’ at Railway Close, Shillelagh Road, Tullow Co. Carlow.
A total of 2 affordable homes consisting of 2 nr 3-bedroom semi-detached two storey dwellings are being made available for sale by Carlow County Council in the residential development of Railway Close, Tullow Co. Carlow under affordable dwelling purchase arrangements in accordance with the Affordable Housing Act 2021 and associated Affordable Housing Regulations.

Save the Date: New Family Food Festival Coming to Carlow This October

The Big Barn Bash – Family Food Festival will bring two days of food, family fun, outdoor activity and entertainment to Carlow on Saturday, 31 October and Sunday, 1 November 2026.

A brand-new festival experience for Carlow, The Big Barn Bash is being brought to life through a partnership between Carlow County Council, Coppenagh House Farm, Carlow Tourism and Active Carlow, with the development of the festival supported by Fáilte Ireland.
