Carlow libraries offer a block loan facility to educators; ideal for requesting multiple copies of a book for a class of students. Copies of a book can be requested from all over the national network, to be borrowed for up to three (3) months. Block loans can also be very useful for book clubs, gathering multiple copies of a book in one branch in advance, so that each member can then check one out on their personal library card.
