County Carlow Sports Partnership is leading a series of initiatives that will support people to stay active in their own local areas throughout the winter. Sporting organisations and clubs will be developing ways to support local communities.

Eating Well

Safefood is a great resource for easy recipes. Their book 101 Square Meals is available to access online here. Meal planning can be tricky at these times and so Safefood have compiled a three week meal planner on their website which is available here.

Managing Your Mood

Carlow Mental Health Association is a local voluntary organisation that provides information on where supports, both local and national, can be found. A new website will help signpost to services and provided information of local events.

Keeping Connected
Building on the Community Call response earlier in the year, Carlow County Council will be providing a local community helpline. This is a confidential service 1800-814-300.Help someone to ‘Get Started’ online or with new technologies by sharing a link or printing a guide from the Age Action resources. There are a range of guides helping people to get online, use video calls etc. For more information click here.
