Public Consultation on County Carlows Digital Strategy
The Department of Rural and Community Development has directed that all local authorities develop and implement a local digital strategy.
Carlow County Council has embarked on an initiative to develop a Digital Strategy for County Carlow. Over the coming months we will be engaging with all our citizens, various organisations and businesses to assess the potential for Carlow to benefit from digital technologies and to identify what challenges need to be overcome.
A workshop on the development of digital strategies to foster enterprise and grow business in the region will be held in The Seven Oaks Hotel, Co Carlow, on the 10th March, 2020 from 6.30pm to 8pm.
The workshop will be hosted by Carlow County Council and facilitated by Indecon who have previously prepared a Digital Readiness assessment for County Carlow. This report is available for download here.
At the workshop we will be seeking feedback and input from the community from across Carlow as we develop the Digital Strategy for the county.
To commence our Digital Strategy journey we have developed a questionnaire for each of the stakeholders.
Please choose and complete the relevant qestionnaire from the online links below
Consumer Questionnaire
Business Questionnaire
Non Profit Questionnaire
The information from these surveys will be analysed and will feed into our first Digital Strategy for County Carlow.
Please complete by Tuesday 31st March, 2020.
