2nd Round of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund
The Department of Rural and Community Development and Carlow Local Community Development Committee (Carlow LCDC) invites applications for grant funding under the 2nd Round of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund.
The COVID-19 Emergency Fund is designed to assist community-based organisations that are facing increased demands or additional costs due to the pandemic. Funding will be considered for groups to: –
– assist in community support as part of the Community Call effort e.g. meals on wheels; deliveries; phone calls etc.
– adapt their services and operations to fit the new COVID-19 reality. e.g. adapting premises; offering on-line activities; providing social supports and friendly calls by phone etc.
– become more involved in the Government’s ‘Keep Well’ campaign, in particular, with the three themes: staying connected, switching off and being creative, and minding your mood.
Applications should be typically for €1,000 or less but amounts greater will be considered if the community need is demonstrated.
