Carlow County Council no longer to carry out percolation tests
In accordance with the Planning & Development Regulations 2006, all unserviced sites must have a Site Charactisation Test carried out and the results need to be submitted to make a valid application. Due to the number of applications it is no longer viable for the council to carry out these tests. We have advertised in the local media requesting any interested parties in carrying out these tests to send us details and qualifications. Following from this we have a list of suitably qualified testers from whom we will be accepting percolation test results for valid applications. This list will be periodically updated. The list is available on the planning forms page of this website
