Welcome to the Carlow Local Authorities Website
Carlow Local Authorities are the administrative body with responsibility for local government in County Carlow. We play an active role in the development of the County's industrial, business, social, arts, heritage and cultural affairs.
Because of the role local authorities play, the range of matters for which they are responsible and their closeness to local communities, local government has a more immediate effect on the day to day lives of you and I than most other sectors of public administration. Carlow Local Authorities are very conscious of the need to ensure that our services and strategies are pursued in a manner that produces a high degree of customer satisfaction. We urge you to exercise your rights and contact us with any comments or complaints. Become involved, vote for and know your elected officials as this will enable you to voice your concerns to the appropriate representatives.
For business enquiries we recommend a vist to our ClickforCarlow website. This website was created to facilitate companies who are considering locating industry, business or enterprise in Carlow and wish to identify the skills base in the County. The website also gives job seekers an opportunity to register your skills on our database.
