Cruinniú na nÓg Programme

Local authorities may run events and activities for children and young people such as street theatre, workshops, screenings and readings as part of national Cruinniú na nÓg Day to encourage participation in culture and creativity.

Cruinniú na nÓg Carlow 2024 launches over 30 free creative activities for young people

We are calling on all young people to fire up their imaginations and take part in one of the free Cruinniú na nÓg events that will take place around the County on Saturday 15th June 2024.

Cruinniú na nÓg celebrates and encourages participation by children and young people in creative activities in their local neighbourhoods and communities.

The Programme is led by the local Creative Ireland Carlow Culture and Creativity Team, coordinated through the County Council Arts Service, with huge support from local youth organisations, creative practitioners, and community groups.

It includes everything from Comic Book design workshops in Borris library, a Magic Show at Forward Steps Family Resource Centre in Tullow, and a Pop-Up Cinema event in Bagenalstown and so much more!

The full programme can be downloaded below or see Cruinniú na nÓg or pick up a programme from your local library.

Cruinniú na nÓg Carlow is organised and managed by Carlow County Council Arts Service as part of the Creative Ireland Programme.
